I make this cold process soap by hand with 100% organic coconut oil. This hefty bar has a sudsy lather that cleanses without drying. It is made with lye and oil, which are both completely transformed during the saponification process. It’s so fun to make this stuff. Our bars are scented with pure essential oils unless otherwise noted.

I’ve been using Folk Potion’s soap for a couple of years now. Originally, it was MY soap and my husband and kids knew to use the other “stuff” in the shower (body wash, Dr. Bronner’s, etc). I started noticing my bar was shrinking down at a much quicker rate, so I asked my husband what was up and he said “yeah… it’s all of us, so order double moving forward because I’ll never go back.”
So, here we are- faithfully reordering double, sometimes triple if it’s gift-giving season!
