Lavender + Peppermint Body Oil

One of my favorite things to do is dream up new potions. I love to think by seasons and come up with one plant ally combined with another to create the perfect helpmeet. In summertime we are particularly dehydrated. Our skin is beaten by sun, wind, and water. When it's hot, we find a river or a pool. When the days are long we spend as much time outside as possible. 

I wanted to take two summer plants: Lavender and Peppermint and create the perfect summer salvation. Meet our Lavender + Peppermint Body Oil.

This particular potent peppermint was cultivated by our friends at Katydid Hill Farm in Pennsylvania. The lavender buds are organic and overflow with that soothing scent we all know so well. I infused them for two months in a fast absorbing, luscious oil blend, filtered out the plants and added just a touch of lavender and peppermint essential oils.

The resulting potion is fresh and clean, perfect for after any summertime activity. Mellow enough for the whole family, but you may want to keep it for self too!

Lavender and peppermint oil infusion (organic sweet almond oil, meadowfoam oil, organic argan oil, organic golden jojoba oil, organic olive oil, organic lavender buds and organic peppermint leaf), the essential oils of lavender and peppermint, vitamin E oil.
